The End of the Beginning?

I think it's time to take a break from blogging for a while. I'm not sure exactly what's changed but it somehow feels less important to me.

I am starting to think that my words just aren't so meaningful, that they don't carry any real weight behind them in the big bad blogosphere. I need to produce something that's more substantial, more powerful than these blogging pieces, I need to finish the book that I have been wanting to finish for years now and then perhaps after I will come back to the blogging world re-energised.

I hope that this book is something that I have the fortitude to complete, I think that it will be important to me personally and that it may add something to the way that people look at the period of time during which I served in the territories.

In the meantime my fourth short story will be published in December, hopefully there will be many more.

Thanks to everyone who followed the blog, especially to all at Harry's Place for being so ready to cross post so many of my pieces.

I wonder if I really can keep away from the blogosphere for longer than a couple of months ;)
